The Samsung NX1 sensor

This could be a possible 2015 Samsung product launch roadmap according to messages shared by sources to us and Photorumors.

Thee should be the three new lenses launched in 2015:

– Samsung 16-80mm f/4 OIS
– Samsung S 24mm f/1.4 ED
– Samsung S 11-24mm f/2.8 ED OIS

And there will be two compact NX300 successor

– NX400 without EVF
– NX400EVF with EVF

Both NX400 cameras will feature the same NX1 sensor and of course 4K recording.

Well, this is a rumor site after all and we do not care a lot about existing cameras :)  So let’s talk about what’s coming as next!

First, Olympus manager Haruo said it loud and clear: The E-M5 successor is coming soon! (Source: 43rumors).

Second, the nice Fuji guys duo confirmed the X-PRO2 is on the roadmap and that it will be “worth the long wait”. It will not be a Full Frame camera. (Source: Fujirumors).

And now mark my words: I heard from trusted sources both cameras use a very new sensor tech. Mark my words. One day you will remember you heard it from me first. Will spill out more as soon as I get info about that new “tech”.

As you have noticed many manufacturers showed lens prototypes but didn’t share any info on pricing. Well here are some “rumored” prices captured in “unofficial” talks with Sony and Voigtlander managers:

1) SystemKameraForum writes the new 10,5mm f/0.95 MFT lens will be priced at around 1300 Euro.

2) VeryBigLobo claims to know the new FE lens prices:
– 28mm f/2.0 G should cost 499 Euro (February shipment)
– 35mm f/1.4 Zeiss should cost 1399 Euro (March shipment)
– 90mm f/2.8 G macro should cost 999 Euro (March shipment)
– 24-240mm f/3.5-6.4 should cost 1099 Euro (March shipment)
– both converters should cost 229 Euro each (March shipment)

We still don’t know what the Samsung 300mm, The Olympus 300mm and the Fuji 140-400mm could cost…

LeMondeDeLaPhoto spotted that Ricoh France FB message confirming they will launch a new Pentax Full Frame camera in 2015:

It’s now official: there will be a full frame camera from Ricoh Imaging. You will have to wait until next year, the project being under development.

And I bet this will be a mirrorless camera! The first to compete against the Sony A7 series!

Leica is likely the only company that takes Photokina very seriously and will announce plenty of new cameras and lenses. More than Nikon, Canon and Sony together in term of numbers! :)

Samsung posted a new teaser for the NX-1. Attention: DOn’t get confused byt he “NX D-1” marking. it only minus “Day -1” day until it’s unveiled.

So do not dream about a second or even a FF camera yet:)

Samsung itself writes on facebook “The reveal is tomorrow at noon CEST/10am GMT/7pm KST.”
