At last also Nikon is coming: Full Frame lens patent for Mirrorless System camera spotted!

The image you see on top is a real Nikon patent for a Lens designed for a Full Frame mirrorless system! It’s a 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 VR lens and the question now is only…when is the new Nikon system camera going to be launched?
spotted by Egami.
Fuji next 16-55mm f/2.8 lens will have OIS.

Fujirumors spotted and interesting info inside the latest Fujifilmxmagazine issue. The 16-55mm f/2.8 zoom lens will arrive early 2015 and the lens will have OIS!
Sounds like X camera owners will get a perfect normal zoom!
Updated Samsung NX400 specs: Will compete against the Sony A6000!

Current NX300 vs A6000 (CameraSize).
Redcrow and SamsungCameraRumors are spilling out info about the next Samsung NX400 camera that should be announced in January/February.
– Same 28MP NX1 sensor
– Same NX1 autofous system
– Built-in EVF
– smaller buffer than nx1 but triple than nx300.
– 4K recording (although not 100% sure yet)
– no weather sealed body
– Price around $900 with kit lens.
Those features would push the NX400 in direct competition with the Sony A6000. But if the price gets confirmed it’s quite above the $798 you spend now for the A6000 double lens kit!
Samsung NX400 with NX1 sensor coming next month!

I got more confirmations from sources that Samsung will launch the NX400 next month already. It has indeed the same NX1 sensor and AF system. But the NX400 will not be weather sealed and…(update) have 4K?
UPDATE: Redcrow says it has 4K (very good news if true)
Olympus E-M5II has same E-M5 sensor.

Image of the E-M5 sensor by Engadget
Olympus is going the Canon route and will keep “re-using” the same sensor on the newer generation cameras. The E-M5II will get the same E-M5 sensor without PDAF.
But still, Olympus will add the sensor shift shooting feature that will allow you to take 40 megapixel pictures by combining 8 pictures shot in rapid succession.
Finally a rumor that will happen for sure! E-M Mark II has sensor shift resolution trick!

This rumor is confirmed by best sources. So do not take it with a grain of salt but as an almost 99% certain fact. The first week of February Olympus will announce the new E-M5 MarkII which will have one new unique feature in the OMD range:
The camera has a 16 Megapixel sensor that can shoot up to 40 Megapixel by shifting the sensor (in up to 8 frames of single shots).
So just like HDR shoots get combined to increase the dynamic range the new Olympus sensor will shift of 1 pixel for every shot and than combine the pictures to increase the resolution. This will work perfectly for landscape pictures a bit less perfectly on fast moving subjects.
For the rest the E-M5II will use the same E-M5 sensor so there is no improvement there :(
