Well if you like the new Hasselblad X1D there is even greater news for you to come. Fuji will soon announce their own medium format system camera too! And it will be priced below the Hasselblad X1D! This is what we know yet about the new Fuji medium format camera:

On July 7 Fuji will announce the new X-T2. Digicameinfo leaked an image of the camera and the full specs. Google translated list here:

Hasselblad CEO Oosting “corrected” previous statements from Hasselblad manager Ove Bengston and the Hasselblad statement on the Facebook page. Those said that it would be almost impossible to make zooms for the X1D. But Oosting now says on Bokeh.com:
“Let me correct that a little bit…there will be more lenses coming. There will be also zoom lenses coming. So that is something we have to correct.”
Still, I don’t think zooms are really needed for the X1D. I guess who buys that camera prefers to work with primes anyway.

There is little we don’t know about the new Fuji X-T2 that will be announced soon on July 7. But thanks to Fujirumors we know the X-T2 is slightly bigger than the X-T1 as you can see from the image above. And the X-T2 will also have a new generation battery that avoids overheating issues (Source: FR).
