$180 off on the Ricoh GR!

This was already one of the cheapest APS-C fixed lens compact cameras. And now it got a huge $180 off at Amazon US (Click here to grab it).
A small good news after learning that Ricoh discontinued the GXR :(

Fujirumors got some bits about the new Fuji X-T1. The camera will be announced in late January and it is said to have the best Electronic Viewfinder on market yet. And “anyone thinking of getting an OM-D should hold off until the end of the month. So worth the wait.”
Sounds like a hell of a camera. Hope they fix the slow autofocusing too!
Bad news on the Ricoh GXR front. The camera production has been stopped and in UK the camera is no more for sale at all.
Ricoh managers didn’t unveil the reason why the GXR has been phased out (Source: Amateur Photographer). And it really doesn’t look like the reason for this is a new upcoming model. It may be that Ricoh gives up the whole idea of doing such a modular camera :(
About time! The new NEX-7 successor will be announced before the CP+ show in February. There are no specs or price info yet. The few rumors circulating on the web do suggest that the Megapixel number will not change (24Mp) and there may be a second “R” version without Anti Aliasing filter.
That’s all for now, but I am pretty sure more info will leak out soon!
Hi everyone! If you are also excited by the new NX30 I have a good news for you. I made a collection of fresh videos of NX30 and a video sample. So that is a good new especially for video enthusiasts. Here is the NX30 videos collection and here (on top of this post) is the most important video.
A couple of weeks ago Digicameinfo reported the registration of the name “Leica T type 701” in Taiwan. This is likely a new interchangeable and mirrorless system. According to Leicarumors the camera will be launched in April and feature an APS-C sensor.
As far as we know the prime lenses will be made by Leica in Germany. The camera body and the zooms will be made by Panasonic (and sold with Leica name).
According to Fujirumors there will be a new Fuji X-T1 announcement in two weeks (end of January). It will be an SLR alike designed X-mount camera with addtitional battery grip and shutter release. It uses the same sensor of the X-E2 and has an extra large EVF. It is likely to use a double SD-card slot and it has a weather sealed body. Price will be in between the X-E2 and X-PRO1.
Sounds like a great camera!
