The Sony NEX leaking time may just started in an unusual way. Top fashion photographer Clayton Nelson claims to have taken these images with the new Sony NEX-7R prototype camera he got from Sony:

UPDATE: Pictures have now been removed by the authot. This means Sony asked him to remove the images :)
His first feedback is:
I emailed Sony some of the images I took earlier in the week, explaining how delighted I was with the camera, especially the color sensor. These cameras are far beyond playthings. I believe that they can be utilized as substantial tools in an artistic format. They are certainly not toys..
He posted the info today and let’s hope he will post more tidbits tomorrow too!
The image on tops shows you the new Fuji 56mm f/1.2 and 10-24mm f/4 lenses. It has been posted by Fuji and you can download the full new PDF here: http://www.fujifilm.com/products/digital_cameras/pdf/lenses_accessories_catalogue_01.pdf
And here is the new Fuji roadmap that includes the two new lenses:
Sony created quite a buzz with their QX Lens Cameras! And obviously other giants from the electronics industry will try to catch up as soon as it gets. And here is a first rumor about a Samsung QX clone :)
We have been told that Samsung is making a first QX alike camera having those specs:
10x zoom starting 24mm (no information about aperture)
20mpx sensor
stabilization
full hd video recording
NFC, wifi connection
But I still don’t know if that “idea” of doing photography with a smartphone will become very popular. Looks more like a niche product for now…
Nikon is trying to appeal new customers by being the first to offer a mirrorless rugged camera. The new Nikon 1 AW1 comes along two new rigged lenses, the Nikkor 1 AW 10mm f/2.8 and 1 AW 11-27.5mm f/3.5-5.6 lenses. The AW marked cameras and lenses are water, shock, dust and freezeproof. The camera can go 15m under water! I think this could be a real hit for Nikon. Finally a camera that can be with you on any travelling conditions!

I am still not sure about when exactly Canon will announce the new EOS-M cameras this week. Sony, Olympus and Panasonic will announce more stuff in October.
