Image on top shows the Leica SL with 24-90mm zoom lens.

Rich Leica fans be happy! If you don’t know hot to spend your $$$ the Leica SL will certainly help you. A Highly trusted source told me the Leica SL with 24-90mm kit lens will cost a little bit over 10.000 Euro! It means it costs more than a Leica M camera.

Reminder: Along the SL Leica will also announce those three lenses on October 20.

– Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 1: 2.8-4 / 24-90 mm ASPH.
– Leica Apo-Vario-Elmarit-SL 1: 2.8-4 / 90-280 mm
– Leica Summilux-SL 1: 1.4 / 50 mm ASPH.

(High credibility rumor) Zeiss will announce the Loxia 21mm on October 12. The Zeiss Otus will be announced on October 14.

(High credibility rumor):

[shoplink 300350 ebay]Zeiss_21mm_f_2_8_ZM_Lens_361537[/shoplink] The Loxia 21mm will be based on the [shoplink 300350 ebay]Zeiss 21mm f/2.8 Biogon ZM lens design (listed here on eBay)[/shoplink].

Highly trusted sources told us this: Zeiss will have two separate announcement next week:

On Monday October 12 at 11:00 Berlin time they will announce the Zeiss Loxia 21mm f/2.8 FE lens.
On Wednesday October 14 at 11:00 Berlin time they will announce the Zeiss Otus 28mm f/1.4 lens.

I don’t know yet if there will be any other new lens.

(Medium credibility) Sigma will no more make X-mount lenses?

(Medium credibility rumor):
feature01_main_img

Fujirumors sources report that Sigma will no more launch any lens for the Fuji X-mount. Acording to FR Sigma motivated that decision with the following reason:

  • Due the restricted market share, Sigma currently has no plans at all to release X-mount version of their lenses.

Well that would be very pit if true!

Adobe adds support for the new E-M10II, A7sII, DxO cameras. Adds many “older” lens profiles.

Adobe released a new Lightroom update. New cameras like the E-M10II, A7sII, DxO are now supported. But probably unexpected is the following part. Adobe added many lens profiles on “older” lenses used by many mirrorless camera owners through their adapters:

– Canon FD 28 mm f/2.8
– Canon FD 50 mm f/1.4
– Canon FD 135 mm f/2.5 S.C.
– Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 45 mm f/2.8 (Contax 645)

– Fujifilm Fujinon 55 mm f/1.8 (M42)
– Minolta MC Rokkor 58 mm f/1.2
– Minolta MC Rokkor -PF 55 mm f/1.7
– Minolta MC Rokkor -X PG 50 mm f/1.4
– Minolta MC Tele Rokkor -PE 200 mm f/4.5
– Minolta MC W.Rokkor -HG 35 mm f/2.8
– Minolta MD 50 mm f/2
– Minolta MD Celtic 135 mm f/3.5
– Minolta MD Rokkor -X 45 mm f/2
– Minolta MD Rokkor -X 50 mm f/1.7
– Minolta MD W.Rokkor -X 28 mm f/2.8
– Minolta MD W.Rokkor -X 28 mm f/2.8
– Nikon Nikkor 24 mm f/2.8 AI
– Nikon Nikkor 50 mm f/1.4 AIS
– Nikon Nikkor 50 mm f/1.8 AI
