Olympus will launch the 4K capable E-M1II and the new 12-100mm f/4.0 PRO lens!

While the E-PL8 leaked many months ago disappeared from the rumor radar we can switch over to more exciting Olympus news. At Photokina we can expect two great new MFT products:

  1. The E-M1II with 20MP sensor, 4K video, dual SD card, handheld high resolution mode
  2. The 12-100mm f/4.0 PRO zoom

Now if also the new 25mm f/1.2 PRO lens will be announced along the first two rumored items than well, this is going to be an exciting Photokina for the MFT fellowship!

RetroFlex is a unique rig that combines vintage handheld appeal with digital filmmaking. The big optical loupe is magnetically attached, and the handgrip has a built-in run-stop button for video. The bottom of the cage is an arca-swiss compatible plate so hybrid shooters can drop it right into their Really Right Stuff or similar tripod.  Compatible with A7 II, A7S II and A7R II. Nikon to launch the world’s fastest 105mm f/1.4 prime autofocus lens!

This is the first image of the new Nikon 105mm f/1.4 autofocus F-mount lens. This is the world’s fastest 105mm autofocus lens and some mirrorless owners maybe be interested to grab this one and to adapt it on their camera. This is definitely a lens with a huge appealing WOW factor!

The lens will be priced at 233,280 YEN ($2,200) and released on August 26.
