Sony officially listed the three new medium format sensor specs. These sensors will be available from 2018. It’s certain the future Fuji GFX-100 and the Hasselblad X2D will use the IMx461 100MP sensor. This one can record 4K video at 30fps, take stills at 6fps 14bit and even record 8K at 18fps.
The IMX211 and IMX411 will be used by the future Phase One $50,00 digital backs.
Zyoptics officially announced today that their super fast 135mm f/1.4 lens will be available from now on for seven mounts: Canon EF / Nikon F / Pentax K / Sony E / Sony A / Fujifilm G / Leica T.
The Zyoptics lenses are all sold under the brand name Mitakon at Amazon, Amazon DE and Amazon UK.
Canon registered the EOS-M50 at the Bluetooth agency. The camera will be announced in early 2018.

What do you want to read first…the good or bad news? Let’s start with the bad news:
1) If you click on the chart above you will notice that system camera shipments in September were lower compared to last year. Which is quite a bummer if you consider that last year we had the Kumamoto disaster.
2) The good news is that fixed lens camera sales are still strong and makes up for the bad system camera performance. The total camera shipment is therefore still higher than 2016
Nokishita spotted a total of three new camera registrations in Asia. It’s yet not certain what these cameras are but Fujirumors writes:
My guess is that it could be the Fujifilm X-A5, the X-T100 and the X-T2S. The X80 is also an option, but not sure if it will sport the X-TransIII sensor, as reported here.
