Dpreview published the images of three different GFX prototypes:
1) The modular concept named “Omega”:
2) The X-T3 styled concept named “Gamma”:
3) Another ssimplier XT design alike camera:
4) And the “SP-X” camera without EVF:
My personal note: Damn you Fuji for not making the X-T3 styled GFX camera. This is my dream camera!
I do believe that the new Canon EOS-RP might be the final EOS-M APS-C line killer. I think Canon will still launch 1-2 lenses and maybe another M camera. But just like it happened with so many other mounts the EOS-M APS-C system will be slowly faded out. Do you have the same “feeling”?
Hi Lows Note spotted a new patent describing the design of a new Canon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 lens.
A major collection of new Canon patents for Pop-UP EVF, Resin Mount, Hybrid EVF, Lenses and Sensors can be read on CanonWatch.
Fuji, I like modular but I don’t like how it is now. Please add a digital back to give us the change to switch sensors too!
Nokishita spilled out some info about the soon to be announced new Leica Q2:
Yesterday we had announcements from Fuji, Canon and Nikon. But there is still one more announcement ahead of us: Sony will announce new E-mount lenses before the start of the WPPI show (which opens on Feb 25).
For sure we can expect to get a new 135mm f/1.8 GM lens. There is likely going to be no camera announcement. A new E-mount mirrorless and a new RX0II will be announced in Q2 (between April and June).
