This time it’s Sony Store Canada leaking Sony info ahead of the announcement. They currently display the full RX100M3 specs. Unlike previous rumors the camera will not be announced today. There is a short delay and it will be announced tomorrow (May 16) at 5 am London time!

As I already told you before the new Sony RX100M3 compact camera will be announced on May 15. And now Nikonrumors reports the Nikon 1 S2 will be announced on the same day.

P.S.: Olympus E-PL7 should come by end of this month too.

Well, we are getting a new PEN camera soon and in term of specs it’s exactly the copy of the E-M10 (just without EVF). The new E-PL7 will have same sensor, same autoficusong system, same LCD screes. here are the full E-PL7 specs:

As you know Olympus usually updated the full PEN range in one single announcement (always in late Spring). But according to latest rumors this is not going to happen this year. There will be “only” the new E-PL7 with same E-M10 sensor, 81 AF points and Vari Angle LCD.

There is no other info yet but this sounds more like a small update than a completely new camera.

On May 7 Sony will announce the A7s pricing. According to one of our trusted sources the price could be surprisingly low: $1800! That’s about the same price of the Panasonic GH4.

I know it sounds weird but we heard that there will be two more Sony announcements. On next week on May 7 to unveil the final A7s pricing and the two new Sony FE lenses (28-135mm Powerzoom and 16-35mm Zeiss).

The week after (May 15) Sony will then unveil the RX100M3 whichs specs have been already leaked:

20MP sensor (same as RX100/M2 models)
ISO 125-25600
24-70mm f/1.8-2.8 lens
Built in View finder (SVGA OLED Tru-Finder 1440k dots)
Tiltable screen (180 degrees up)
Record in XAVC S format (Same format of the Sony A7s but with no 4K output option).

I have been told all other specs are the same of the current RX100II model.
Price is said to be around 800-850 Euro in Europe. Should be around $800-850 in USA (US price is my guess)
