It was and is inevitable. You have to run the Megapixel race too if you want to survive in the digital camera business. Fuji Manager Toshihisa Iida confirmed in a Dpreview Interview that they will launch a higher MP sensor camera. The good news is that all current X lenses can resolve future high resolution sensors.

Some Hong Kong seller already listed the new Sony FE lenses. I don’t know if it’s bogus or not but Digicameinfo heard the 24-240mm FE lens is definitely going to be announced next week on March 4. Here are the links to the eBay auctions of the new lenses:

One of the incoming fw for nx1 will have a new algorithm for af tracking of moving subjects. They claim a 100% (or even more) improvement in accuracy with c-af and multi point focus. They told me the camera will easily beat any pro dslr on the market after the update.

Fujirumors reports the Fuji X-T10 camera will have a smaller EVF comapred to the big borther X-T1. And it also will not be weather sealed. No other info are given yet.

An official Nikon 1 design patent

Nikonrumors reports that the Nikon 1 J5 announcement may be coming in few weeks already. And this could be also the first Nikon camera capable of recording 4K video. Although I don’t expect Nikon to deliver a high quality 4K video as delivered by Panasonic or Sony.
