Haha, and the funniest thing that there wont be any good response from either Canon or Nikon.. They will just keep on walking with their eyes on the ground with a stupid smile on their face.. That Canon and Nikon have missed the boat is understatement as Sony comes running past them at full speed, lifts of the ground, aiming for the sky and beyond.

SPEC. to A77 is very good, also by height end camera.

“Nikon didn’t announce anything special yet.”

It’s the same story for more than a year. As if those rumors about Nikon mirrorless system are used to deter people from buying m4/3, NEX and NX. If Nikon released something when the first rumors suggested, they would be making its second generation mirrorless cameras by now.

the NEX 7 viewfinder seems really exciting but why on earth do they only implement rectangular ratios on this camera . No 4;3 or 1;1 ratio. that would be really easy on a EVF camera

the 3;2 ratio is very oblong especially in vertical format. You would think that Sony would have made this feature available since EVERY competing camera has it
    Too bad

  • DonTom

Very happy for the Sony enthusiasts, and well done Sony for putting the EVF in the right place. Come on Panny/Olly, put one there on a GF1 size body!
Can’t say I’d care for that file and lens size though……

This is the Oly E-5 killer. I hoped Oly itself came up with it as I own several zuiko lenses, but Sony beat it.
I happily swapped my E-3 for a GH-2, but I miss body IS and the still image quality of Oly bodies: for the life of me I can’t shell $1600 for a E-5 but I can definitely gor for a A-77 $2000 kit.
To keep my Zuiko lenses I would had payed 3 grands for a Oly body that has more pro capabilities, but it seems Oly isn’t much interested in my segment.
    Too bad.

    • Vishnu

Why not buy the Nex 7. I am sure they have E mount adapter for Zuiko lenses.
