I just heard from a source that for some unknown reasons Nikon moved the ZF announcement to early September. My guess is that Nikon wants to see what Sony will announce on August 29 first :)

Asobinet leaked the first images of the ZF.

A Japanese photographer known to test Nikon cameras ahead of their announcement did shortly show a Nikon camera in his latest video (from minute 1:50). The reason why some do believe this is the new Nikon ZF is that it mounts the 40mm f/2.0 lens which is rumored to be available as a kit lens option on the new ZF. The rumored specs on Weibo and Asobinet are:
