Olympus:
Olympus will unveil a new E-M5 successor with new body design the first week of February!
Sony:
Sony will be the first camera maker to launch a new Sony FE A9 camera aimed for the professional market. The worlds first attempt to kick Canon and Nikon’s ass :)
Can’t wait to see new Sony!
And now they did it! A huge leather case for the weird looking Sigma DP1 Quattro! Doesn’t look that bad I would say!
The camera is finally shipping too in Germany (Technikdirekt) and Japan (eBay). The Sigma DP2 Quattro is shipping at Amazon US.

I am now 100% sure that Sony has a big E-mount announcement planned for End January. And I have been told by many of my best sources that there will be “serious” new stuff. I am trying to get some info on them now…
X100T, X-Pro1, X-E2 and X30 owners can now buy the official Fuji thumb grips. But you have to spend quite a lot for them because the official price in Japan is around $100!

Olympus will bet extremely high on some new sensor tech features when releasing the new OMD MFT camera in January! The camera itself also will feature a new design. It will be the official E-M5 successor but will have little in common with the E-M5….
UPDATE: I have been told that while the sensor design changes are minor there is at least one unique feature on the sensor. Something that has to do with some sort of extra resolution…
Only two months to go to see if Olympus will keep the promise!
