SamsungCameraRumors got the final proof of a new Samsung NX camera that is coming at CP+. They spotted the name registration in China.
It’s pretty much obvious the camera is going to be announced before the CP+ show!
Quick rumor: Fuji will announce the new X-A2 and lot of new fixed lens compact camera within the next few hours.
And the first images of the XQ2 compact camera have been leaked via Fuji France:

Byungdeok Nam, Senior Vice President of Samsung’s R&D team has been interviewed at Dpreview. I really like what Samsung is doing on the technological front but I have to say their market prediction regarding mirrorless were always wrong in the past. So I wouldn’t trust the latest statement they made in their new interview:
I wouldn’t like to say, but since 2008 when mirrorless systems were announced, mirrorless didn’t grow very rapidly. In the last year, however, market reports are predicting that in 2018/19 mirrorless cameras will outsell DSLRs.
It’s certainly more interesting to read about the NX1 development story. To design and make the NX1 sensor they worked for three years. And the NX1 development goal was:
Full-frame, high-end DSLRs. The ones around the $5000 level. That’s our benchmark.
They certainly did an extremely good job with the NX1!
Fuji is going to announce a new X-A2 entry level X cameras. This is nto the rumored entry level X-T1 version but simply the current X-A1 successor. There will be also two OIS II version lenses and new compact cameras. This is the list of cameras/lenses coming at CP+:

Olympus did it with their OMD line. The E-M5 had a huge success and they therefore expanded the OMD line at the top (E-M1) and the bottom (E-M10).
And if Fujirumors is telling us the truth than this could happen with the X-T1 line too. FR says a new entry level X-T1 will be announced within the next couple of months.
There is yet no specific info about the camera but I think it could become a hotseller if Fuji doesn’t strip to many X-T1 features from it!
Samyang announced one new lens that comes in two versions: 135mm f/2.0 and the Cine 135mm t/2.2. The lenses are available for Micro Four Thirds, Fuji X and Sony E-mount!
