In November Fuji will announce the new X-A10 and the new XF 50mm f/2.o WR lens (Source: Fujirumors).
And to get a taste about Fuji’s roadmap in 2017: They will launch their first “clickless” aperture lenses in 2017. This shows how Fuji is clearly targeting the video shooters with their new X-T2 (Fujirumors).
Both Canon (PDF here) and Fuji (PDF here) released their Q2 financial report. Both companies had declining sales and earnings caused by different factors like compact camera sales drop, YEN appreciation. And both companies forecast now expect a further increase in sales and revenue. The one good news for Fuji is that they had strong X-T2 sales.
Easy to expects similar results from the other companies too. The question is still the same: Who will survive this constant decline?
This is the Chronos 1.4 homebrew high-speed camera. it has a C-mount and shoots up to 650fps. And the good news is that it costs $2,500 only (which is really impressive!). The camera will be soon launched on Kickstarter and the specs are:

Canon registered several new cameras at the public Novacert agency (Russia). Those are all yet nonannounced cameras. The code “PC2279” marks a new mirrorless system camera. The other codes are fro two DSLR cameras five fixed lens cameras and accessories.

Janosch from the Fuji GFX facebook group spotted that German magazine disclosing the price of the GFX body. They write this is “ca (circa)” price…whcih means it’s not the final 100% confirmed price. But I think this is really what the GFX is going to cost at the end when preorder will be available early next year.
