New DJI Mavic Mini Drone announced!
DJI just announced the new Mavic Mini Drone and you can preorder it at DJIstore (worldwide shipment) and BHphoto.
There are two L-mount announcements coming soon: Leica SL2 and Panasonic 70-200mm f/2.8 and 16-35mm f/4.0 L lenses!
While other manufacturers will have a short announcement pause til January-February the L-mount consortium is still busy announcing new products:
1) Next week Leica will announce the new 47MP SL2 camera
2) Within 2 weeks Panasonic will also launch the new 70-200mm f/2.8 and 16-35mm f/4.0 L lenses
As you can see…all those three new toys aren’t going to be cheap :)
Canon Q3 operating profit in the imaging business drops 56,8% compared to last year!
Canon published the Q3 financial results and damn they are bleeding out :(
Compared to Q3 2018 their net profit dropped by 56,8%! Sales dropped by 13,9%. They now changed the 2019 sales forecast and expect full year profit to drop by 59,9%. Honestly I didn’t expect that and it looks like Canon and Olympus are doing worse than other camera companies now…
