Metalenses have the potential to revolutionize the lens market. Suddenly you can get rid of the complex multi glass design by using just one thin sheet of metalens. A new step forward has been made thanks to the introduction of tiny deep holes that help you to focus the image.

For sure we will get the new new LUMIX S 35mm f/1.8 lens on this day. It’s unclear if there will be more stuff…like for example some GH6 related news.
This is the first product branded as “OM System”. Gone we ar with “Olympus” :(

CanonWatch writes the camera might be releases in Q3 2022 and that the Canon EOS R1 will incorporate technology that will “let all competitors behind“.
This would mean it’s better than the new Nikon Z9. Nice if true…but one year is still a long time to go before we see it in real!
