Sigma is teasing the launch of multiple DN lenses on September 30 (including the already leaked 105mm f/2.8 macro lens for Sony E and Leica E-mount):

We are pleased to announce the holding of an online event “SIGMA STAGE Online”, which is a presentation of new DN series (dedicated to mirrorless interchangeable-lens cameras) interchangeable lenses. It will be held on 30th, September, 2020, from JST 21:00 / CEST 14:00 / EDT 08:00.

Sigma will soon announce the new 105mm f/2.8 lens. Nokishita leaked the images of the L-mount version that will be announced on September 30. There will be an E-mount version too.

Sigma 105mm F2.8 DG DN MACRO Art Lens specs:

• lens configuration of 17 elements in 12 groups
• minimum shooting distance of 29.5cm
• maximum shooting magnification of 1: 1, 9 aperture blades
• filter diameter of 62mm, and a size of φ74.
• It will be x 133.6mm (E mount 135.6mm) and weigh 710g (E mount 715g).
• The US price is around $ 799. 

You can always count on Fuji announcing a ton of new cameras :)

Fujirumors reports two new “mid-range” cameras will be announced between now and March. One of these will be named “X-S10”. We have no specs and info yet and I have no idea why Fuji feels the need to create a new camera name…

The MFT community really needed some good news! Panasonic director Yamane confirmed they are developing the new GH6 camera and stated “stay tuned for that”. Now let’s hope it will have that new 41MP 8K sensor from Sony…

I would never advice anyone to buy into the EOS-M line. And indeed it looks like a High End APS-C RF Mount camera is coming in 2021. This would but a knife in the back of the system. Canon should give every current EOS-M camera owner a big discount to buy the future APS-C RF mount camera. And be done with the EOS-M system

L-rumors reports:

This info is from trusted sources that shared many correct rumors in the past. So I am 99% confident it’s true. This is what they said:

• Sigma is very, very unhappy with the progress of L-Mount. They are urging Panasonic to focus much more on this system
• They are really thinking of an APS-C entry level system based on L-Mount
• They now see Canon as biggest competitor in Video segment

Panasonic stated a couple of times they do not plan to make an APS-C L-mount camera to not cannibalize the MFT system. Well…they might change their mind soon enough and it would be bad news for the MFT folks.

And here it is the new Sony A7c. What you see is the “Platinum” model which has a platined top plate. The rest of the body is made out of black plastic. The camera will be announce next week on Sept 15
