Samsung NX Full Frame camera in 2014 only.

A good source told us that while It is true that Samsung is developing a NX Full Frame system the first camera will be available in 2014 only. And if the info is correct than 2014 sounds like the year where plenty of manufacturers will launch their FF mirrorless system. Sony is rumored to launch a new NEX-9 with 24 MPX sensor along three new Zeiss primes in June 2014. Fuji may will follow with a new FF X system in late 2014.

Nikon and Canon instead will keep focusing on the launch of ultra cheap FF DSRL and that may be a serious challenge for all future FF mirrorless systems!

The smallest DSRL leaks. And Sony NEX-7n delayed.

As we told you last week Canon plans to move against the mirrorless world by announcing a super tiny new DSRL. And on top you can see the first image leaked via Digicaminfo. You really can’t go smaller than this :)

That said we have some news on the “regular” mirrorless front too. The SOny NEX-7n has been delayed (probably due in June instead of April) and the E-P5 is coming in late April and uses exactly the same E-M5 sensor. Still no news about the mysterious Samsung NX-R…

Canon announcement on March 22th. New Samsung NX2000 coming too?

Canon: It looks like soon we are going to see how small that mini Canon DSLR is. According to CR the announcement is scheduled for next week March 22.

Samsung: And also Samsung may will have an announcement soon. After the NX1100 there may be a new NX2000 too! An anonymous source even pointed me out to that link on Google Plus where image samples taken with the NX2000 are shown (is it real?).

Olympus and Panasonic are going to launch their new MFT cameras in April. I still have no news about Fuji and Ricoh-Pentax announcements…

Canon wants to fight the mirrorless competion with world smallest DSLR!

One of the Mirrorless system cameras main advantage is the size reduction compared to DSLR cameras. And according to top sources at CanonWatch (Click here) Canon is about to change that by announcing the smallest DSLR camera ever made. And it almost sounds like that is the way Canon want to go to compete against the various MFT or NEX cameras. Their EOS-M camera was not able to gain any noticeable favour from the market.

We hope to see some pics of the camera soon. I am sure it will be smaller than a GH3 and maybe even smaller than an E-M5!

New Olympus E-P5 and new Sony NEX-7n to be announced in April!
