A good day for Fuji: Adobe RAW now supports the X-trans pattern.

Bildschirmfoto 2013-02-26 um 12.05.06-The official Adobe Fuji X sensor support message-

And now it’s here! Adobe supports the complex Fuji X sensor design and gives you 100% support on their RAW files. Download LR 4.4 here. or Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw RC 7.4 here. And to see what changed for Fuji watch out the nice article by Rico Pfirstinger on Fujirumors. There is also the first dpreview test: “In the ACR 7.3 rendering, the foliage takes on a distinct ‘watercolor’ appearance, and the white text of the sign is ‘filled-in’ green. As you can see, the new processing approach in ACR 7.4 RC offers substantial improvements in both areas.” (thx MJr)

Sony NEX-3n now officially announced (no surprises).

Tonight Sony announced the new Sony NEX-3n camera. You can read the press release at: Sony, ePhotozine, Dpreview, Whatdigitalcamera, Techradar, Lemondedelaphoto (french), Photographyblog, Photoscala. Some hands-on pics and previews are also available at: ePhotozine, Techradar, Photographyblog, Pocket-Lint.

While the specs aren’t impressive the size reduction is noticeable! It’s the smallest APS-C mirrorless camera on market and the build quality is on a good level with metal body and no use of cheap plastic only. Price is very low with $499 with the 16-50mm kit lens. Could be a nice camera to buy!
