One more E-M1 image….

The camera already got leaked many times. But here is one more image just to see remember you how beautiful it is ;)

UPDATE: I removed the red Japanese text on the image. Have been told it was offensive (some kind of Korea vs Japan joke).

Everything from Olympus and Sony gets leaked!

Tomorrow (August 27) Sony will announce four new NEX products (and a Black version of the existing 50mm lens) while Olympus will announce a new camera and a new lens on September 10-11. And all that new stuff has been already leaked on multiple sites (including some official Sony sites). Just click on the pictures to see a large size version of the images.

What you see are the ILC-3000 (DSLR shaped NEX camera with 20.1 MP), the 18-105 f/4.0 G PZ lens, the Black 50mm f/1.8, the 16-70mm f/4.0 OSS Zeiss lens, the Olympus E-M1, the Olympus 12-40mm f/2.8 lens.

Leak! Sony follows Samsung and Panasonic path: Makes a DSLR shaped mirrorless E-mount camera!

Mirrorless still cannot sell as well as DSLR cameras? Than fake them! :)
What you see here is the first image of the A3000 which is a perfectly Sony DSLR looking camera with E-mount and without mirror. It’s going to be launched next week and features a 20,1 MP sensor, 230K LCD and 1,44 Million dot EVF. All that will cost you around $300 only.

And the “dramatic” question is: Does it still make sensor for Sony to make A-mount cameras if you can make them E-mount without that extra costly ST tech?

New NEX-5T, 16.70mm Zeiss and huge PZ lens leaked at Xitek!

A forum user over at Xitek posted that image of the new NEX-5T, Zeiss 16-70mm F/4.0 OSS lens and the PZ 18-105mm F4G OSS. What we don’t have yet is the image of the first DSLR styled E-mount camera, the ILC-3000 camera. These are the four new NEX products that will be announced next week:

    • Zeiss Vario-Tessar T * E 16-70mm F4 ZA OSS
      – Filter diameter of 55mm
    • E PZ 18-105mm F4G OSS
      – Filter diameter of 72mm
    • NEX-5T
      – Look almost the same as the NEX-5R (It has NFC, FN-button control like on SLT cameras, new Menu Interface and a couple of more things.)
      – Same NEX-5R sensor
    • ?3000 (ILC-3000 in EU and US).
      – Looks like a classic Sony SLT camera (but is E-mount has no SLT tech).
      – Has a new 20.1MP APS-C sensor
      – built-in EVF (230K)
      – cost around 300 pounds. Target-group is beginners.
      – it will be also available with the 18-55mm as kit lens.

We will not see the new NEX-FF camera and lenses for now. These could be announced in late September only!

Some Samsung news: 30mm f/2 NX i-Fn shown on German online store.

It has been very quite on the Samsung front after their Android NX camera announcement. And it looks like there will be no more big new releases this year. All we can expect for autumn is an updated 20mm f/2.0 lens with added i-Fn function. The German Online Store Fotokoch (Click here) lists the new lens for 299 Euro.

I am wondering what’s in the head of the Samsung bosses right now. What will they do to make NX cameras popular? We will “see” their thoughts at Photokina 2014 I guess…
