Canon held a huge presentation in Tokyo (report at DCwatch). The interesting news is that Canon believes the decrease in DSLR sales are just a very short happening. They expect the interchangeable lens camera market to grow again in 2015. The image on top shows the expected growth in Japan.

There is of course no mention at all about future mirrorless strategy. But I think Canon cannot ignore mirrorless anymore…

We saw the big Samsung 300mm lens prototype a couple of hours ago but Bigger is better isn’t it? Fuji now displayed a 140-400mm huge XF zoom on their Photokina booth! And those are the lens specs:

– 140-400 1:4-5.6 R LM OIS WR
– filter mount: 86mm
– weather resistant
– coming in 2015

There is also a mockup of the XF 16-55 f/2.8 has no OIS:

Voigtlander announced some interesting new lens today!

On top you can see the 35mm f/1.7 M-mount lens. And thee will be also a Heliar 2,8/40 mm and a Super Wide Heliar 4,5/15 mm II M-mount.

And they also announced a new impressive 10,5mm f/0.95 Micro Four Thirds lens (Source: Voigtlander). Here is the image of that lens with specs:
