This is the fourth time we have to report a X1D shipment postponement: BHphoto just updated the expected availability status. The X1D will now ship in beginning of November 2016 only. Just recently Hasselblad confirmed that the first batch of camera has been produced and shipped.
I don’t know if the delay is caused by some production issues or by the high demand of the camera.

Focus Numerique interviewed the Samyang managers at Photokina. There are two interesting points:
I guess most companies will not announce any new product this year. But Sony may be an exception! They still have some E-mount stuff to come. SAR reports a 10mm f/2.8 STF FE lens could be announced in October. It’s still unclear if Sony will also announce a new E-mount camera. The A7m3, A5300 and the A9 are the hottest candidates…
There are new Sandisk SD cards listed at BHphoto (Click here). The new generation has the following specs:

Max. Write Speed: 260 MB/s
up from the previous generation:
