Increasing “rumor noise” about a new BIG Sony announcement in March

We are receiving more and more confirmations from different sources that Sony is going to have a major product announcement in March (probably late March). I have no solid info to share. A trusted source said he “heard” there would be two new FE lenses and one new camera. But he stressed to say that this is not a first hand info. So let’s wait a bit and see if we can get some more info about this soon…

Fotodiox launches five new GFX adapters for Contax, Mamiya 645 Nikon F, Canon EF and Olympus OM lenses

Fotodiox announced five new adapters (Click here) for the Fuji GFX camera. One of the adapter allows you to use the great [shoplink 303751 ebay]Mamiya 645 lenses (here on eBay)[/shoplink]. The other four adapt FullFrame lenses and I wonder which one of these actually works fine on the GFX.

Anyway, there are even more adapters coming from Fotodiox as you can see from that image shared by Fujirumors:

New Hasselblad X1D reviews by Thomas Ludwig and Michael Clark

Thomas Ludwig writes:

Images have a very natural appearence. Colors are true to life and I have the feeling that one can see that medium format look. This might be subjective, but I think they have more plasticity than smaller sensors could deliver. I’m mostly happy with my micro 43 cameras, but these files play clearly in another league. The look, the colors, dynamic range and of course noise–simply amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Michael Clark writes:

The X1D reminds me a lot of the Mamiya 7II, which was one of my favorite medium format cameras ever. The X1D’s small size, straightforward, no-nonsense approach to photography, like all Hasselblad cameras, helps you to concentrate on the image and not on the camera. In other words the camera doesn’t get in the way of the image.

The X1D is on preorder at BHphoto, Adorama.
