Cosina Japan announced the development of three new Sony E-mount lenses

Cosina Japan announced that it is developing three new E-mount lenses. There is yet no info about the price or shipment time.

The Voigtländer MACRO APO-LANTHAR 65mm F2 Aspherical was announced at Photokina 2016 in Cologne, Germany, as a reference exhibit. Since then specifications and appearance have been improved.
The Red, Green, and Blue lines on the lens barrel proudly indicate its heritage from vintage APO-LANTHAR lens designs – High Performance.
At F2, this lens is one of the fastest macro lenses available for full frame format. SAR
Macro Ratio is 1:2. Minimum Object Distance is 31cm.

NOKTON 40mm F1.2 Aspherical is the fastest 40mm lens ever made for the Full Frame format sensor. This lens is compact enough but also can produce high resolution picture due to the lens construction design optimized for Full Frame E-mount sensor.
Minimum Object Distance is 40cm. Selective Aperture Control System is available.

We re-design the lens construction of M-mount version, which is now optimized for Full Frame E-mount sensor. As NOKTON Classic 35mm F1.4 has the “Classic” in its name, this lens produce beautiful Bokeh at wide open, and sharp image at stop down.

Fuji announces two new Cine lenses and a new updated XF roadmap with three lenses!

Today Fuji announced two great Cine lenses which will be available for E-mount and X-mount (full info on SAR). One of the lenses (18-55mm T/2.9 E-mount) can be preordered now at BHphoto (Click here) and Adorama (Click here).

Fuji also released a new XF lens roadmap which shows three more lenses to come:

The XF80mm f/2.8 OIS WR will arrive sometimes in the middle of the year. By early 2018 we will get a new Ultra Wide Angle Zoom and by end 2018 a new Telephoto Prime Lens.

First leaked images of the new Kowa MFT and Sigma DSLR lenses

The big CP+ show is about to start and as expected we will get many new lenses but not so many new cameras this year. Here are some newly leaked images:

  1. Kowa will announce a new 90mm f/2.5 macro MFT (image on top) via 43rumors
  2. Sigma will announce four DSLR lenses. But those lenses can be used on all mirrorless system cameras too (via adapter of course). Via Nokishita

 

Increasing “rumor noise” about a new BIG Sony announcement in March

We are receiving more and more confirmations from different sources that Sony is going to have a major product announcement in March (probably late March). I have no solid info to share. A trusted source said he “heard” there would be two new FE lenses and one new camera. But he stressed to say that this is not a first hand info. So let’s wait a bit and see if we can get some more info about this soon…
