Bad press Big Money: Yashica raises nearly 1 million $ on Kickstarter despite general laughter

I saw plenty of bad press and heavy critics by the photography community on the new Yashica camera Kickstarter campaign. But what we learned is that an innovative idea seems to count much more than the opinion of the press.

Yashica raised around $800,000 and is getting really close to the million dollar mark. they raised nearly 10 times the requested target funding. I am not convinced by Yashicas idea but I admire their balls for trying something innovative! Canon and Nikon could take a leasson from them :)
