Panasonic will announce seven new S lenses in 2020 and the S1H has 6 stops of in body stabilization!

Panasonic is  going to announce the full S1H specs on August 27. A source at L-rumors.com spilled out his info:

  • it has IBIS (up to 6 stop)
  • cooling fan  to allow for unlimited video recording
  • ‘24,2MP sensor
  • HFR sound recording

The officially Panasonic unveiled specs are:

  • 6K 3:2 capture at 24p
  • 16:9 5.9K capture at up to 30p
  • ‘Multi aspect’ recording including anamorphic 4:3 capture

And he also said this about the updated  S lens roadmap:

1) Panasonic will announce the new 24-70mm f/2.8and 70-200mm f/2,8 in a month or so,
2) 16-35 f/4.0 end of this year.
3) Panasonic will  announce seven new S lenses in 2020!

So far Panasonic seems  to have failed to make meaningful sales of their  new  system (at least that ‘s  what big store owners tell me). That’s why Panasonic US greatly reduced the price of the two S cameras:

$700 off on the Panasonic S1R at Amazon, Adorama and BHphoto.
$300 off on the Panasonic S1 at Amazon, Adorama and BHphoto.
