Elementary Watson: Canon will announce an APS-C R camera in 2021
Two things were certain for 2021: Coronavirus will spread further and Canon will make an APS-C R camera and slowly fade out their EOS-M system. Canon Rumors now says the APS-C R camera will be released the second half of the year.

Today Nokishita spotted the registration of new lens hoods for the Canon RF 70-200mm f/4.0 and RF 50mm f/1.8 STM lenses. It means the announcement is happening soon.

Finally! Zeiss ZX1 worldwide launch on October 29
Damn, two years folks! And finally Zeiss will launch the worldwide preorder for their ZX1 on October 29 at 19:00 Tokyo time. The camera was already listed for a short time (mistake?) for $6,000 at BHphoto (preorder price has now been removed).

Full Frame mirrorless market share in Japan. Canon gaining at Sony’s cost
Yep, it looks like the Canon EOS-R5 and R6 are finally becoming a real threat for Sony!
Some more points:
- Nikon is really struggling.
- Panasonic S5 finally moved up the market share from Panasonic
- Sigma is falling after the initial FP sales. Hope they will bring out the Foveon camera in 2021.
