Panasonic did register another camera overseas: Now a total of three cameras should be announced soon!

On 28 February, Panasonic registered another new camera in China. We have now registered a total of three cameras in Asia that have not yet been announced. The next camera will be announced in May, and it’s a ‘niche’ L-mount Cine camera that is NOT the S1HII. I don’t know yet what the other two cameras might be. Yesterday Panasonic said they are working on new fixed lens cameras, maybe one of them is some kind of LX100II successor. What would you like to see?

Note: The table above shows four camera codes for ‘unknown’ cameras. One of the codes is certainly for the Lumix S1rII, leaving three cameras that have yet to be announced.

The Japanese shop Mapcamera published its ranking of the 10 best-selling cameras in March. And this is the first time I see a L-mount camera making into the top ten!

First official sketches of the new FujiFilm camera with 1 inch vertical sensor!

Fujirumors has discovered the official FCC registration of the new Fujifilm camera with vertical sensor. Based on the sketches, I created an AI image of the camera (see video above). This camera is made for the young people who create vertical content for TikTok and Instagram.

The camera will be announced in 2025 and feature a 1 inch sensor aligned vertically. I bet this camera will sell hot!
