This is the leaked image of the new Canon RF50mm f/1.8 STM lens that will be announced soon along the 70-200mm f/4.0 RF lens.

Two things were certain for 2021: Coronavirus will spread further and Canon will make an APS-C R camera and slowly fade out their EOS-M system. Canon Rumors now says the APS-C R camera will be released the second half of the year.

Today Nokishita spotted the registration of new lens hoods for the Canon RF 70-200mm f/4.0 and RF 50mm f/1.8 STM lenses. It means the announcement is happening soon.

Here a couple of rumors I didn’t report here yet:

Panasonic says they will make anamorphic lenses if there is a market demand for it (L-rumors)
Panasonic doesn’t think Olympus owners will move to Panasonic MFT products (43rumors).
New Tamron 17-70mm F/2.8-4.5 Di III RXD APS-C E-mount Lens to be announced in early 2021? (SonyAlphaRumors).

I think they should have added the new Panasonic S5 in this comparison…that camera rules!

Next week Leica will announce the Q2 monochrome camera. And this is the first leaked image!

Fujirumors is sure there will be two new cameras right at the start of the year:
