New Canon Rumors: New 21MP global shutter sensor for the R1?

CanonWatch reports that Canon has developed a new image sensor with these specifications:

CR reports that there might be two RF 35mm f/1.2L lens in development (one having Defocus Smoothing). And also two big telephoto are in the works. CanonWatch says this might be two 500mm and 300mm f/2.8 lenses.

An area were Full Frame Mirrorless systems still lag behind their DSLR competition is the telephoto lens offerings. Sigma is now actively working to fill the gap and patented this new Sigma 300mm f/2.8 for mirrorless system cameras (which definitely means there will be an E and L-mount version).
