Samsung nx400 and nx400-evf coming in early 2015?

Image on top shows the current NX300.

One source reports that the Samsungs NX300 successor could be announced in early 2015. And actually there will be two variations: One without and one with integrated EVF. The source said one camera is called NX400 and the other one NX400EVF.

A large sensor Panasonic LX coming in two weeks?

An imaginary fixed lens Panasonic large sensor compact.

Rumors are getting stronger around a new surprising camera from Panasonic. A fixed lens compact with Four Thirds sensor, fixed prime lens and 4K video recording. A cameras smaller than the GM1 and therefore pockeatable!

The camera would be of higher quality of the Sony RX100M3. It will be announced on July 16 already! Sounds great!

Confirmed via trusted source: Sony 1 inch sensor used by Panasonic (and likely by other companies too).

The recently announced Panasonic FZ-1000 did shake up the industry by offering a tremendous zoom range and 4K recording in a sub $1,000 package.

And according to our sources the Panasonic is the first non-Sony camera using the Sony RX100m3 1 inch sensor. The source also said the sensor will be sold to other companies too (likely Fuji and Samsung coming as next).

It’s likely that Sony cares more about selling sensors (and leading the industry in that segment) than protecting their own RX camera range. And actually that’s a good news :)

Fuji X-T1P goes 4K…with the viewfinder :)

This could upset the brand new X-T1 owners but Fuji is really already going to offer a new hardware updated X-T1P camera soon!

Fujirumors reports that among the hardware changes there will be a new 4K viewfinder! And now, this doesn’t mean the X-T1P will have 4K recording capability. The new X-T1P will have the same “sub-par” video performance.

The camera will be officially unveiled the beginning of July. And I am wondering why Fuji hurried that much to bring an updated X-T1…
