CanonWatch reports that the next EOS-R High Resolution camera might be announced at Photokina 2019 in May. There are no rumored specs yet but I hope this model will finally record 4K with no crop and have 2 card slots.

L-rumors.com got the info about the aperture of the new Panasonic S Full Frame zoom lenses:
24-105mm f/4.0
70-200mm f/4.0
Not surprised to hear that. They surely didn’t look like f/2.8 lenses.

You can join the new L Full Frame Facebook group if you plan to buy this camera. There you can discuss all features and tests once it’s released!

A source sent us this first image of the new 7Artisans 60mm f/2.8 macro lens. It will be available as native E-mount, X-mount, EOS-M mount and MFT mount option. No idea about pricing yet.
Note: The description below contains an erorr when describing the Lens construction. I guess 7Artisans still has to fix this text :)

We are finally get a first glimpse on this new Olympus OMD camera that will be launched in January. From what we learned it’s clear this camera will feature the best tech available to Olympus. The goal is to make a High End MFT camera that can compete in the Sports Realm. That’s why the camera has a built-in grip. And this isn’t a rumor but a fact:
Today Olympus registered a new camera model with built-in grip at Fccid.io. And the agency reports the exact size of the camera: E-M1X is 144.37 x 146.765 x 75.345mm. This is close to the size of the two Canon-Nikon sports cameras:
Canon EOS-1D X Mark II: 158.0 x 167.6 x 82.6mm or
Nikon D5: 160.0 x 158.5 x 92.0mm.
Sounds intruiging. Can this camera bring back enthusiasm in the MFT system? Time will tell…

Well what a surprise! A chinese manufacturer is attempting what current “classic” camera makers are NOT doing. Yongnuo is developing a mirrorless system camera running on Android and with integrated 4G capability.
Yongnuo posted the image of this camera with a contest on Facebook. The contest ends in January which means that at CES we are likely to learn all details about it. It’s unclear what mount they will use and I guess the Canon 14mm EF lens is attached with an adapter on the camera.
Nice! What do you think about this concept? And what mount do you hope it has?
