Unreported by Nokishita is the announcement date which will be around February 14 (Source CanonWatch).

Nokishita confirmed the rumors CanonWatch posted yesterday. The new Canon EOS-RP has the 26.2 Megapixel sensor and used the “LP-E17” battery

Because people asked I have to tell the rumored specs posted by other Canon rumor sites (saying sensor would be 24MP) are completley wrong. These are the reliable info we got:

The Hasselblad X1D has been officially marked as discontinued at BHphoto. The good news is that last week we spotted the registration for the new X1DII.

I bet the camera is coming soon and it will have the same Fuji GFX100S sensor!

Damn Canon is really going fast with their new RF lens announcements! Fast in both meanings: release time and aperture speed!

Nokishita spotted the registration for the new Leica Q2 camera. We shall see this camera announced within 1-2 months!

Highly reliable sources confirmed to us that Canon will launch a new EOS-R Full Frame camera on February 14. This will be a new entry level model and cost $1599. And yes, obvisouly it still has one SD slot. But at that price it makes sense.

Hasselblad registered a new X1DII at the bluetooth agency. The camera is likely to be announced within the next couple of months and I bet it will use the same sensor used on the Fuji GFX100s. Which means it has a 101 Megapixel Sony sensor that can do 4k30p.

Let’s hope the X1D will mantain it’s design because the GFX100s is going to be huge!
