Yes the A7sIII may not be a headliner like the Canon EOS-R5. But what it does it does with a precision and perfection rarely seen on a Sony. Everything has been improved and you have to watch that Gerald Undone to understand why:
He surely deserves an applause for the commitment :)
Ah yeah, the winner is of course the Olympus E-M1III. Sony should buy Olympus just to learn how to to proper image stabilization!
I know there were many who instantly overhyped the overheating issues and some who simply said this isn’t an issue. But for me personally this is the first time I realize that indeed there is a real issue on the new EOS-R5-R6 camera. Cinema5D tested the camera in a real world scenario and was very disappointed:
Tony Northrup is doing everything possible to be hated by the Canon folks :)
Joke aside he made the first in depth test of the overheating “problem” of the EOS-R5. In 8k30p when used outside under direct sun the camera did shut down around 15 minutes (which is 5min less than the “official” Canon mentioned limit).
With all the talk about the EOS-R5 we forgot the EOS-R6 is probably the best camera for 99% of all photographers.
