New Hasselblad XCD 4/21mm announced

The XCD 21mm is an ultra wide-angle lens for the X System. Its extremely short focal length provides a 17mm full frame equivalent lens, making it perfect for landscape and architecture photography. The lens features a 32 cm close distance setting (1:10 image scale) and an aperture range between 4 and 32. The XCD 21mm features full automatic focusing as well as instant manual focus.

Phase One just announced its first camera with the new Sony back side illuminated 44x33mm 100MP sensor

Today Phase One announced the new iXM UAV and Drone Camera. The news matters because this is the world’s first camera using the new Sony back side illuminated 44x33mm 100MP sensor. This is the same sensor that will be used by the future Fuji GFX-100S and Hasselblad X1D-100c!

I haven’t found image samples shot with this camera yet but here are some facts:

– Dynamic range is 83dB
– ISO range 50-6400
– 3fps

Expect the future Fuji and Hasselblad to have the nearly same specs!

Here is an intorduction video from Phase One:
