Fuji X-A1 “cheap” X-mount camera to be unveiled on September 17.

On September 17, at 5am London time Fuji will finally unveil the cheapest of all X-mount cameras, the X-A1! And I really don’t think we will have to wait much longer for a more “serious” new X-mount camera. Fuji has set one more announcement for late October. It’s going to be a nice time for Fuji lovers :)

Plenty of new Mirrorless cameras coming in October!

According to multiple trusted sources a whole bunch of companies is going to launch new products in October. We are talking about Sony, Canon, Fuji, Panasonic and Olympus. All announcements will be made right before or at the Photoplus Expo in New York.

I am working on a full list of camera and lenses that we could see by then. Stay tuned!

Yes, the NEX-FF is going to be announced in October. Priced at around $3000.

SonyAlphaRumors and Photoclubalpha, both got confirmation from their sources that the NEX-FF is going to announced soon (in October). The first camera will cost around $3000. There will be also a “cheaper” camera coming a couple of months later. Both cameras feature the same sensor and both are very NEX-7 alike (but they will NOT replace the NEX-7). The camera has an E-mount and current lenses will work in crop mode.

At start there will be two zooms, a 35mm f/2.8 Zeiss and a 55mm f/1.8 Zeiss. There is also a rumor about a 85mm f/1.8 Zeiss but it’s unconfirmed yet.

Overall it looks like Sony pushed very hard on the accelerator to be the first company (after Leica) launching a full frame compact camera with interchangeable lenses. Sounds like the RX1 success convinced them to put all their resources and knowledge on a sort of interchangeable mount version. Sounds great!

Everything is “s”. Iphone 5s tomorrow and Fuji X-E1s in late 2013 :)

It’s “s” mania! Not only Apple but also Fuji is about to launch an update X-E1 by adding an “s” suffix :)

Fujirumors reports that the X-E1 successor will be announced before the X-PRO1. And according to the Chinese site xjrumor it will be called “X-E1S”. It will feature the same sensor and viewfinder as the current X100s.

And just for fun…watch the iPhone 5S parody video on top. I am sure the Fuji “S” suffix will be more appealing than the iPhone 5S that will be launched tomorrow :)
