More details about two upcoming mirrorless cameras spilled out on the web:
1) The Olympus E-Pl7 will be announced the next few days. And it has the same E-M10 specs but comes without the built-in EVF from the OMD
2) The Fuji X200 will be announced late August right before Photokina. It will feature a 24MP X-trans (APS-C) sensor. It will also have a new fixed lens (no specs known yet).
Sounds like the big hit from Fuji at Photokina will be the new X-Pro 2 with hybrid viewfinder! These could be the camera specs:
APS-C sensor
24MP sensor
available in 2015
tilt screen
WiFi
Non organic ASP-C X-Trans sensor

That funny Indonesian agency keeps leaking the names of cameras weeks ahead of their official announcements! Here is the image of the newly listed Sony A5100 which is supposed to be announced very soon!

Lesnumeriques (google translation here) compared the new Sigma DP2 Quattro quality against the Sony A7r and Leica S2. As you can see from the High Resolution images on their page at ISO 100 the Sigma shows an amazing sharpness and detail. Just imaging if Sigma would make a FF or even MF Foveon sensor!

I know this news will make your day! Canon launched two new color version of their EOS-M2 camera which is available in Asia only (here on eBay)! That was it :(

That image doesn’t look exciting at all but it’s precious because it’s actually the first photo taken with a Sony curved sensor!
It has been shared by Sony to Nikkei.jp. NIkkei reports the sensor are production ready and while the sensor has plenty of advantages (no vignetting, allows faster and compact lens design and so on) it has also one huge issue. Sony said it’s very difficult to design zoom lenses for it.
Sony is rumored to launch such a sensor with the next RX1 fixed lens successor!
