Cool day for MFT folks: Both OM digital and Panasonic launched their teaser pages for the OM-1 and GH6

Micro Four Thirds folks will finally get two cameras: The OM-1 and the GH6. Today we got this:

  • OM Digital just confirmed a product announcement for February 15th in their teaser video posted today (watch it below).
  • In the last video that have been published “LUMIX Live : Resolutions” the binary code leads to this website: https://shop.panasonic.com/lumix/countdown

We also got some specs about the new cameras:

The O-M1 is rumored to be announced on February 15th and feature following specs:

  • 20mp IMX472 sensor from Sony (You can download the PDF here).
  • 120fps 12-bit RAW DCI
  • 4K60P 10-bit 4:2:2
  • Improved AF tracking
  • astro tracking
  • price slightly above $2,000
  • shipment start in March

The official specs shared by Panasonic are (GH6 specs at BHphoto):

  • New Micro Four Thirds Sensor
  • Updated Venus Engine Image Processor
  • 5.7K 60p Video, 10-Bit Sampling
  • DCI 4K 10-Bit 4:2:2, Unlimited Recording
