Two news from the big boys:

1) Nikon has still not unveiled when they will start shipping their DL compact camera line. BHphoto still reports a vague “coming soon” note.

2) Some good news for Canon: Nikkei reports that Canon’s group operating profit is seen topping 250 billion yen ($2.17 billion) for the fiscal year ending December 2017,
