A couple of days ago we posted the rumor about a possible new EOS-M camera that may be announced in summer. And “coincidence” wants that today the Canon EOS-M with 22mm kit lens got a $200 price drop at Amazon US (Click here). The lens alone costs $250! Guess what, I really think the new EOS-M announcement is very close :)

There are some nice price drop on the X-PRo 1:
You can grab it for $1,119 with free shipping via top rated seller . And European can get it for 1.000 Euro only at Digitalrev (import tax and shipping costs included!). Does it mean the X PRO 2 launch is on the horizon? Nope, two trusted sources told us that the X PRO 2 is coming in early 2014 only. Too bad they didn’t unveil the specs yet. But I hope they will come back to me soon with some good news :)
. That’s almost a $200 discount over the regular price at Amazon!
And now back to rumors: Those are the specs of the new Ricoh GR model:

X100s vs RX1 size compairson by Mike Kobal
After more than two months of waiting the first X100s US preorders are shipping at Amazon US (Click here). A few hours ago it was even amrked as “in Stock” for a short time. There are already first User Reviews (Click here to read them).
But how good is the new X100s? If you have a lot of time to spend on Internet than check out that list of tests: Zackarias, Dpreview Studio comparison, ePhotozine review, Mike Kobal, Rico Pfirstinger.
The X100s has a faster AF, better EVF, and plenty of new features. It’s really time for Fuji to make a new X PRO 2 too!
After Canon, Fuj and Pentax also Nikon has a high end APS-C fixed lens compact camera. And it’s finally in Stock at Amazon (Click here) and BHphoto (Click here). But how does it compare with its rivals? Photographyblog posted the full Coolpix A review and writes: “smaller and more pocketable than its rivals, but with slower auto-focusing and no built-in viewfinder. It’s definitely an interesting camera in its own right that would make a great second camera for Nikon DSLR owners, but ultimately a few crucial shortcomings and some fierce competition limit its appeal to a wider audience.“
Pb isn’t really enthusiastic about the camera but everything is relative. The Nikon is really a pocketable camera while the Fuji X100s is not. You have the choice :)
The Sigma DP3 proerders are now up at Adorama (Click here) and BHphoto (Click here). The lens will ship in very late February according to BH. Still, we hope the next generation Foveon sensor will be fitted on an interchangeable DP camera. We really don’t want to buy a new camera every time we want to use a different lens!
