A highly trusted source confirmed to me that Canon will announce the new C50 Full-Frame Cine Camera on September 9. UPDATE: There was a misunderstanding in the communication with me and the source and now I got the correct specs: 32Mp Full Frame, Open Gate, and some more exciting new features tailored for filmmakers. The source is already testing it — and says it’s outperforming the Sony FX3 by a mile! 🔥
