Zeiss explains how the new Touit Lenses have been developed! 50mm macro to ship from October 1.

Thanks to BHphoto (Click here) we now have the estomated shipping date for the third Touit lens, the Zeiss 50mm f/2.8 macro. It will ship form October 1.

Zeiss (Click here) posted an article about “How an extraordinary family of ZEISS lenses were developed“. They explain why they didn’t go Micro Four Thirds: “In order to stay true to the high quality standards of the ZEISS brand, it was decided to focus on cameras with an APS-C sensor“.
