About the zoom lens, we’re actively working on it. About the macro lenses, there won’t be any in the near future.

Where the EVO line fits in:

The new EVO line will replace our DF Series (full-frame f/1.8 lenses) and C Series (APS-C f/1.4 lenses) gradually, the first two lenses in the EVO series are mainly full-frame, primarily in FE and Z mounts.

When will the first L-mount lenses arrive?

The earliest release will likely be next year, our R&D team is actively working on it.

An interesting story: After 71 years Leica just announced their first M-mount camera ever without the rangefinder system! The new Leica M EV1 uses a new 5.76 million dot EVF instead. It keeps using the same Sony 61MP sensor of the M11.

Fujifilm announced the new X-T30III you get for $999 at BHphoto. This is Fujifilm’s final announcement of the year. It may not be as exciting as the other cameras they launched in 2025, but it’s more affordable — and still delivers some of Fujifilm’s signature magic.
