The smallest DSRL leaks. And Sony NEX-7n delayed.

As we told you last week Canon plans to move against the mirrorless world by announcing a super tiny new DSRL. And on top you can see the first image leaked via Digicaminfo. You really can’t go smaller than this
That said we have some news on the “regular” mirrorless front too. The SOny NEX-7n has been delayed (probably due in June instead of April) and the E-P5 is coming in late April and uses exactly the same E-M5 sensor. Still no news about the mysterious Samsung NX-R…

3 months ago |It seems that Canon fell out of a stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down. They should have made a nice little micro four-thirds EOS with great specs and the ability to use all the other Lumix and Olympus M4/3 lenses out there. I’d be drooling over it right now and I’m even a Nikon/Olympus/Panasonic guy.

3 months ago |This new move to attract customers & additionnal market share over MTF might be a new marketing mistake (after the EOS M )unless there is cleary a roadmap & announcement for future small lenses to go along the new “DSLR Baby”…Theres is a desesperate attempt for Canon to be leader in all segments !…i guess it’s too late for this company !

3 months ago |It will be interesting to see if Canon really can make smaller than Olympus E-420 which holds still (after 5 years of release) record of smallest DSLR. No doubtly it will be bigger than E-M5, as just the register distance of EF-S is almost double of micro-4/3.
Nevertheless, I highly doubt it having APS-C sensor, but the “almost 4/3″ sized from G1X.

3 months ago |I always puzzled why nowdays, with all the electronics innovation it’s hard to make a small dslr, my OM10 is small, but yes, it’s a FF film camera, not a big APS-C dslr. How to transform it into a FF dslr ? simply with a sensor, some electronics a battery and a screen, and all of this don’t need much room, just imagination and guts.
