Sigma DP3 preorders started (coming very late February).
The Sigma DP3 proerders are now up at Adorama (Click here) and BHphoto (Click here). The lens will ship in very late February according to BH. Still, we hope the next generation Foveon sensor will be fitted on an interchangeable DP camera. We really don’t want to buy a new camera every time we want to use a different lens!

Things would be a lot more interesting if some of the big players bought the tech and refined it into soemthing that’s more versatile than the SD1. Then again, sony was already working on their own “direct image” sensor…
