Nikonrumors posted the link to the Patent Number 20110080659 filed by Nikon on September 30th. It describes the characteristics of the 18mm f/2.8 DX lens (28mm equivalent) that could be used by the upcoming APS-C compact and fixed lens X100s competitor.
And people is having fun designing the possible Nikon camera. The image on top is from Mike Kobal! 
The other image was that one (but with an erroneous interchangeable mount)

3 months ago |with this sensor it should be at least f/1.0 to be something serious. It’s 1″ sensor. Sony could put zoom that starts with f/1.8 on it and clueless Nikon is unable to design a prime that’s brighter than that.

I would be very much more interested in a fixed lens type, since I am definitely not interested in having two different interchangeable systems, and it would take ages before I move over to a nikon mirrorless system, if ever.
