11 months ago |there were some rumors that cancels out the upcoming mirrorless k-mount PENTAX system, any take/info on that?
i think that sony sensor+pentax pancakes+IBIS=win product

I’d change that equation slightly:
Sony sensor + Pentax pancakes + IBIS – mirror – pentaprism – (0.5 x Registration distance) = win product

11 months ago |The NX200 could be very interesting. Interested to see what Samsung is able to do as far as improving the sensor and video. And maybe they’ll offer a bundle with the new 16mm pancake? That would rule!

11 months ago |Please more information over the Samsung Medium Format system with the 36×36 sensor. I hope Samsung can keep the registration distance short allowing the use of M lenses from Leica and Voigtlander. That would be awesome!

11 months ago |…. you wont be able to use m lens on that format. unless you use it as a close focus lens. a lot of 35mm lens will not produce the image circle required on that format when focused near infinity. You could also reverse mount your 35mm lens and that would cover the area but would also be macro.
The flange is a needed distance that will be ether built into the camera or the lens maker will need to make the lens longer to accommodate the lack of it (depending on the lens mm of course).
And admin you did a great job with the EPL3 EP3 and EPM1. I hope you can find or have the contacts to get us any info on the upcoming NX cameras. I think NX has the best lens line up but also the worst cameras, if only they would come out with a EPL3 (NEX) style tilt screen. (any hope?)

11 months ago |Samsung NX’s DRIMe II image processor, it seems the EX-1 than the more old DRIMe III,
Than the Japanese counterparts, I am afraid that the gap could be significant.
In addition, Samsung’s CMOS technology is too old, the actual performance of the Japanese industry par perfect, I believe NX11 the CMOS, still nearly four years ago K20D/GX20 using the same section of CMOS.
Hope that the new NX used CMOS, not just GX20 CMOS pixel density version of it.
There are many other Japanese manufacturers, SONY, Panasonic, Fujifilm, Olympus and Toshiba even have a Multilayer image sensor (similar to the Foveon X3, but the performance will be better),
However, Samsung could not find such image sensor.
Samsung has yet to see the same as the EX1, you can flip the LED display, Samsung is probably on the market, the only camera of this design Mirrorless manufacturers.
And Samsung already have the first 5.5-generation OLED, NX do not understand the OLED, why the early use of the product.
Touch screen camera, still blank.
Hope the new NX, there will be a satisfactory explanation.
