Official message to all Mirrorlessrumors readers from Expansys.
Just wanted to add a quick note – nope we’re not a scam site, nor a Russian hack site (or even have a Russian office!). Expansys has been going for 15 years and served, literally, millions of customers. You can even find us on the London AIM stock exchange. We certainly don’t deliberately do ‘scam’ offers, our shareholders simply wouldn’t stand for it.
We are again very sorry about the mistake we made with the price confusion on the X-Pro 1, isn’t the way we want to introduce ourselves to new visitors. Anyone who’s give us their details can unsubscribe, and we’ll contact those who pre-ordered as soon as we know our in-stock date and price.

Thanks Rob! You just proved to take care about customers!

What was the confusion, then? Better clear that up rather than simply apologise for an ephemeral mistake.

Really. Promise.
We posted an item for sale way below cost with a fake mockup image by accident.
It was the Larry’s nephew, the intern. Such a joker that kid.
(Any price below the Amazon, BH, Adorama trifecta should be met with extreme skepticism. I have never seen a reputable store beat those guys on price.)

AIM=Alternative Investment Market
Here is a choice quote from wikipedia about the London AIM:
In March 2007, U.S. securities regulator Roel Campos suggested that AIM’s rules for share trading have created a market like a “casino”. Campos reportedly said: “I’m concerned that 30% of issuers that list on AIM are gone in a year.

5 months ago |Did wonder when i saw this go up on expansys seems like a bit of a screw up. Having said that Expansys are normally pretty good in the uk they are one of the few places that sell sim free mobiles and i have ordered a couple of accessories from them and never had a problem. They are mainly a cell phone seller though to the best of my knowledge not a camera seller so maybe thats why they screwed up
As for the listing thing in fairness they have been listed for going on 5 years and have a market cap of around £4 million.
